The base cloth here is 100% Polyester Anti-Pilling Thermal Fleece, 280gsm. What that actually does: the anti-pill treatment stops the surface bobbling after repeated washing, which is what makes cheap fleece look old in one season. Alongside that, the brushed fleece face traps warm air against the body and stays quiet on the move, and polyester holds colour through repeated washing, dries fast and resists stretching out of shape. At 280gsm it is a true mid-heavyweight — warm for cold mornings without bulking up under a shell. Because we stock this cloth, small first orders start immediately instead of waiting on a fabric minimum.
