Overview

Precision begins
at the cutting table.

Every garment in our factory starts as a digital pattern. We import tech packs from buyers worldwide, grade them across our size run, and convert them into optimised cutting markers — the blueprints that turn fabric into finished panels.

Our cutting room runs industry-standard Gerber Accumark for digital pattern making and grading, paired with automatic spreading tables and conveyor-driven cutters. The result: every panel is cut to the same specification, every time, with the kind of consistency that's impossible to achieve by hand.

For hunting apparel — where pattern matching across camouflage prints, knee-pad pockets, and reinforced seam allowances all matter — CAD is non-negotiable. A 2mm pattern drift on a hunting jacket means a misaligned camo print or a pocket that won't close. Our cutters won't let that happen.

Equipment & Software

The technology
behind every cut.

Industry-leading software paired with German and Italian cutting hardware — the same stack used by premium European outdoor brands.

Gerber Accumark

Industry-standard CAD software for pattern digitising, grading and marker making. The same software used by Filson, Härkila and Seeland.

Automatic Spreader

Multi-ply fabric spreading table with edge-alignment sensors. Spreads up to 80 layers in one pass with zero tension distortion.

Bullmer Auto Cutter

German-engineered conveyor-driven cutting bed with rotating tungsten blade and vacuum hold-down system.

Marker Optimiser

AI-assisted nesting software that arranges pattern pieces on fabric for maximum yield — typically 92–96% utilisation.

Process

Six steps from pattern
to perfectly cut panels.

01

Pattern Receipt & Digitisation

Tech pack and patterns received from buyer. Hand patterns digitised on Gerber tablet; PDF/AI patterns imported directly into Accumark for editing and refinement.

02

Grading Across Size Run

Base pattern graded to the full size run (XS–4XL). Every size receives proportional adjustments to body, sleeve, and pocket placement to maintain fit integrity across the range.

03

Marker Making

All graded pieces are nested onto the marker using AI-assisted optimisation. Multiple sizes are combined to maximise fabric yield while respecting grain direction and pattern repeat.

04

Fabric Spreading

Fabric rolls are spread in multiple plies (up to 80 layers) on the cutting table with the automatic spreader. Edge sensors maintain alignment; tension is monitored throughout.

05

Automatic Cutting

The Bullmer cutter follows the marker path with sub-millimetre precision. Vacuum hold-down prevents fabric shift; rotating tungsten blade ensures clean edges through technical fabrics.

06

Bundling & Handoff

Cut panels are bundled by size and style, ticketed with order numbers, and delivered to the sewing line. Waste percentages and cut quantities logged in the production tracker.

Why It Matters

Why brands choose CAD
over hand cutting.

Zero Waste

AI-optimised markers consistently deliver 92–96% fabric utilisation — versus 78–85% with hand-cut markers. On a 1,000-piece order, that's 600 metres of premium fabric saved.

Perfect Consistency

Every panel is identical — piece 1 matches piece 1,000. No size drift, no panel mismatch, no rejected garments at QC because two sleeves were cut to different lengths.

Faster Turnaround

A bulk order that takes 3–4 days of hand cutting is finished by our auto-cutters in 6–8 hours. Faster cutting means faster delivery on every order.
