after Brexit
Since leaving the EU, the UK maintains its own product marking and labelling regime rather than automatically following EU rules. In practice that means a garment specified for the EU market may need a different label to be sold in Britain. We produce separate label runs for UK and EU stock at no extra tooling cost — it is the same woven label supplier, just two artworks.
Shipments to Great Britain clear separately from EU shipments, with their own paperwork and duty treatment. We quote DDP into the UK so freight, clearance and duties land as one number, or FOB Sambrial if your own forwarder handles it. Either way we supply the commercial invoice, packing list and HS codes.
The UK market is shaped by driven game days rather than stalking, so demand skews toward shooting vests, quiet waterproof outerwear and traditional-looking pieces built on modern technical fabric. Our shooting vest range is the busiest category we run for British buyers.
The shooting season sets

UK demand is tightly seasonal and concentrated, which makes the ordering window narrower than in most markets we ship to.
The grouse season opens in mid-August and driven game broadly runs from autumn into the depth of winter. Confirm the current dates for your part of the UK, but the shape does not move — the selling season is short and crowded.
Guns and estates equip before the season opens, so retail demand peaks across July, August and September. Stock landing in October has missed most of it.
Clay is the counterweight to game — a year-round market that does not collapse in spring. A brand carrying both a game range and a clay range has a far flatter revenue curve than one carrying game alone.

The UK route to market looks nothing like American big-box retail, and that changes what a sensible first order looks like.
Country stores, gun shops and shooting grounds order in modest quantities and reorder for years if the product performs. That suits a 30-piece minimum far better than a container programme, and it rewards getting one style genuinely right over launching twelve.
Tweed-look fabrics, moleskin, waxed cotton and a country aesthetic carry weight here in a way they do not in North America. Technical performance matters, but a garment that looks wrong for a shoot day will not sell however well it is built.
Game fairs and shooting shows are where UK brands get discovered and where a season of orders is often taken. If a stand is in your plan, the sample has to exist well before the fair rather than after it.
