Your garment, not
somebody else’s with your badge on it
There are three ways a British brand can have clothing made overseas, and the words are used so loosely that new brands routinely buy one thinking they have bought another. Here is the honest distinction.
| Model | What actually happens | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|
| White label | The factory’s existing garment with your label sewn in. Your competitor can buy the same product next week. | Fast tests, giveaways, event kit |
| Private label — what we do | Developed for you: your pattern, fabric, fit, colour and trims. The pattern is yours and it is not sold to anyone else. | Brands building something they intend to own |
| CMT | You supply the fabric and trims, we cut, make and trim. You carry the sourcing risk and the working capital. | Established brands with their own mills |
What we can put
your label into
Field sports is where our engineering goes, but the factory is not limited to it. Everything below is made in-house from 30 pieces per style.
| Category | Typical pieces | Good first order? |
|---|---|---|
| Outerwear | Waterproof shells, softshells, quilted and waxed jackets, field coats | High value, higher fit risk — sample carefully |
| Gilets and body warmers | Quilted, fleece, softshell, shooting gilets | Yes — the single best-selling shape in the UK |
| Fleece and mid-layers | Full zip, half zip, grid fleece, bonded windproof | Yes — forgiving fit, easy to brand well |
| Hoodies and sweatshirts | Pullover, full zip, heavyweight, brushed back | Yes — lowest risk entry point |
| T-shirts and polos | Cotton, poly-cotton, performance knit, pique polos | Yes — cheapest way to test branding |
| Trousers and shorts | Moleskin, cord, stretch technical, cargo, breeks, over-trousers | Fit-sensitive; worth a graded sample set |
| Tracksuits and teamwear | Jacket and trouser sets, training tops | Yes for clubs and staff kit |
| Bags and accessories | Backpacks, caps, belts, gaiters, gun slips | Good margin add-on; note bags are a different customs chapter |
Every mark that makes it
yours, made here
Branding is not an extra line on the invoice at the end. It is done in our own building, before the goods are packed, so nothing needs touching once it lands in Britain.
Main brand label, care and composition label, size label — all made to your artwork and to UK wording. You approve a label proof before bulk.
Logo digitising, thread matching against your actual fabric, and a stitched-out proof before we run. Individual names and initials at no extra minimum.
Screen, transfer and sublimation for larger placements, sponsor blocks and all-over patterns.
Branded zip pullers, leather or synthetic patches, custom studs and cord ends. The cheapest place to buy perceived value.
Card tickets, barcodes, polybag stickers and carton marking to your format — including individually bagged and labelled pieces.
Because it all happens under one roof, a branding change does not add a week to the lead time or a subcontractor to the chain.

A tech pack, a sketch, a photograph, or a garment you want improved on. The last of those is the easiest brief in the world to work from, because we can measure it and you can point at exactly what is wrong with it.
Within 24 working hours you get per-piece pricing at your quantity, a fabric proposal and a sampling date. We write the specification in British terms so the label, the ticket and your website all read correctly to a UK customer.
Made on the real fabric and the real trims, not an approximation. Most brands take a fortnight over review and ask for one revision; budget for that rather than assuming the first sample is final.
We send the finished measurements against the specification. Approving a sample by eye and then arguing about fit after bulk is the most expensive mistake in this trade. Our UK size chart shows the points and tolerances we work to.
Cutting, sewing, branding, inspection and packing. Inline checks during the run rather than one inspection at the end, so a fault is caught at fifty pieces and not at three hundred.
Air is typically 5–8 days, sea around 30. With DDP we handle freight, UK clearance and duty, and you receive cleared goods with one landed cost. FOB Sambrial is available if your own forwarder handles it.
The duty position alone
is worth the conversation
Pakistan is in the Enhanced Preferences tier of the UK Developing Countries Trading Scheme. Most apparel lines land at 0% against a 12% UK Global Tariff — but only if the preference is claimed on the entry with valid proof of origin, which we supply.
The cluster here is built on sports and outdoor manufacture, not fast fashion. That matters when your product has a membrane, taped seams and a hood that has to work.
A 30-piece order is an ordinary day here. In cheaper high-volume origins it is either refused or quietly deprioritised behind the container customers.
What new UK brands ask first
What is the difference between private label and white label?
What is your minimum order quantity?
What does a sample cost and how long does it take?
Do I need a tech pack to get started?
Can you make hoodies and t-shirts as well as outerwear?
Do you have ISO or BSCI certification?
Ready to start your label?
Send a sketch, a tech pack, or simply a garment you want beaten on price or quality. We reply within 24 working hours with per-piece pricing and a sampling date.
